Effective classroom
management is used very well in the classrooms I have observed. The teacher
employs the use of many different strategies and procedures.
Some of the strategies she
employs are: proximity, gestures, awareness, and eye contact. Each of these
strategies I have seen used many times in a positive manor. The procedures the
teacher has put in place help the students organize their time well. Some of
the procedures utilized are: classroom rules, centers chart, and morning work.
I have been impressed
with how aware the teacher is at all times in the classroom. That awareness
along with procedures in place helps to make the classroom run smoothly.
Students are confident in their ability to accomplish their goals of learning.
